About Grand Strand Equine Veterinary Services

Grand Strand Equine Veterinary Services (GSE) was started in 2014 by Dr. Heather Caplan as an equine ambulatory practice servicing Horry County and the surrounding areas. Her goal is to provide veterinary services by educating clients on preventive care and being there if needed for emergencies.

We offer a wide range of equine veterinary services with a special interest in sports medicine and rehabilitation. Grand Strand Equine Veterinary Services is dedicated to providing high-quality and comprehensive medical care to horses throughout the region of South Carolina and NC.

Dr. Heather and Dr. Elizabeth are the most professional, caring, and knowledgeable veterinarians! They work tirelessly, love on our animals AND us, and sometimes have the horrific job of getting our babies back to Heaven.
